MANHATTAN — A man miraculously survived after he fainted and fell between subway rails just before the front car of a southbound N train ran over him in Times Square Friday morning, police said.
He was conscious when FDNY and NYPD units removed him from the tracks after the 9 a.m. fall in the Times Square-42nd Street station, officials said.
He was listed in stable condition at Bellevue Hospital, an NYPD spokesman said.
The extent of his injuries was not immediately clear.
Southbound N, Q and R trains were briefly disrupted, but returned to normal service with delays about an hour later, the MTA said.
Riders should check the MTA's site for updates.
