
PARK SLOPE — A mom had her wallet stolen from her child's stroller as she was shopping at a Park Slope pharmacy, according to a police report.
The 37-year-old mother was reaching for an item on a shelf at Neergaard Pharmacy on Fifth Avenue and 10th Street on June 23 about 4:40 p.m. when a man snatched her wallet out of the stroller. Video from the store shows the thief taking the wallet, the report stated.
Other notable crimes in the 78th Precinct include the following, with details drawn from police reports:
► A burglar who entered through a back door that had been left open stole two laptops, an Apple iPad, $300 in cash and a Kate Spade wallet from an apartment on Fourth Avenue and 12th Street while one of the occupants was at yoga class on June 26.
► A $1,500 Ridley X-Fire Cyclocross bike was stolen while it was chained in front of the owner's home on 14th Street between Fifth and Sixth avenues on June 26 at roughly 7 p.m.
► A $1,200 jackhammer and a $40 level tool were stolen from a building on President Street and Third Avenue that's being renovated into a spa on June 23.
► A 23-year-old woman had her wallet stolen on June 21 at about 11:30 p.m. while she was playing ping-pong at Brownstone Billiards on Flatbush Avenue and Park Place. One of her credit cards was used at a gas station shortly afterward.
► A 2015 Honda Pilot was stolen from Atlantic and Carlton avenues on June 25 while the owner was visiting her grandmother.
