RED HOOK — An unlocked car parked overnight in Red Hook became the target of a theft earlier this week after more than $1,500 in Apple products were stolen from inside it, police said.

The victim, a 66-year-old woman, left her vehicle parked on Columbia Street near the Gowanus Bay Terminal just before 4 p.m. on June 23, according to a police report.

By 6:20 a.m. on June 24, a $1,400 MacBook Air, a $70 laptop charger and an iPhone 6 charger worth $35 were missing from the car, authorities said.

Other notable crimes in the 76th Precinct, according to police, include:

► A gray Smart car parked at Court and Garnet streets in Carroll Gardens was broken into between 7:30 p.m. on June 22 and 8:15 a.m the next day. A thief "busted" the driver's side window of the two-door vehicle, according to the police report, and took an $80 EMS backpack, various toys worth $80, headphones worth $150 and a $70 MP3 player with a memory card.
