BUSHWICK — Police searching for a man who tried to rape a woman in Bushwick last Friday have released a second video with images of the suspect.

A 36-year-old woman was walking on Starr Street near Irving Avenue on Friday, June 12 at around 12:40 a.m. when a man approached her from behind and grabbed her waist, police said.

He then threw her to the ground and sexually assaulted her, police said.

The woman fought back and screamed for help, attracting the attention of a nearby resident who called out from his window and prompted the suspect to flee, police said.

The woman was taken to Woodhull Hospital and was evaluated and released.

Video of the suspect shows a man wearing a white tank top, blue jeans and black shoes.
