BROOKLYN — A man was fatally shot during a fight outside a Ditmas Park bodega Tuesday night, police said.
Raphael Kurton, 27, was fighting with another man outside 1624 Newkirk Ave. about 9:30 p.m. when the other man pulled a gun and shot him in the torso, an NYPD spokeswoman said.
Kurton, who lived in the neighborhood on Ocean Avenue, walked east toward his home but only managed to make it about 200 feet before he collapsed outside 1710 Newkirk Ave., near East 17th Street, police said.
Kurton was pronounced dead at Kings County Hospital, police said.
There were no immediate arrests, police said.
