Fire Truck Gets Stuck in Sinkhole

THE BRONX — A fire truck got stuck in a sinkhole while responding to a medical call in The Bronx Monday morning, an FDNY spokesman said.

The truck’s front right tire disappeared into the sinkhole outside of 1854 Colden Avenue in Morris Park, according to photos and the FDNY.

No one was injured and the truck was extricated, the FDNY said.
