THE BRONX — President Barack Obama will visit The Bronx Monday to help launch a nonprofit organization aimed at increasing opportunities for boys and young men of color.

The group is called My Brother's Keeper Alliance and Obama will discuss it during a 2:30 p.m. event at Lehman College that is scheduled to include a roundtable discussion.

Members of My Brother's Keeper Alliance include the singer John Legend, Aspen Institute CEO Walter Isaacson and Sprint CEO Marcelo Claure.

The organization's website already includes several quotes from Obama and lays out six milestones that it plans to base its efforts around, including making sure that boys read at grade level by third grade and complete post-secondary education or training.

Obama will also be in Midtown Monday after his event at Lehman College, where he will make his eighth and final appearance on "The Late Show with David Letterman," according to TV Guide.
