TRIBECA — A woman was attacked on the subway by a knife-wielding thief who stole her handbag last week, police said.

The 35-year-old victim told police that a man wearing a dark, hooded sweatshirt and red leather jacket approached her after she caught the southbound 1 train at Chambers Street on Apr. 24 at roughly 2:50 a.m.

The thief took out his serrated blade and ran it along her forearm, without cutting her, and demanded she give him her iPhone as she sat on the train, police said.

When the woman tried to look up at him, he grabbed her head, and held it down, telling her, "don't scream and don't look at me," according to a police report.

A moment later, he snatched her purse and ran out of the train at Rector Street, police said.

Police later found her bag discarded, but her iPhone, iPad, Samsung Core 2 and wallet were missing.

Other incidents in this week's 1st Precinct blotter include (see below map for details):

► A 25-year-old had her $250 Tory Burch handbag stolen from TriBeCa lounge Haus on April 25 at roughly 2 a.m., police said. The woman told the NYPD that she left the bag, which also contained her iPhone 6 and $100 Marc Jacobs wallet, on a table at the 285 W. Broadway club, and when she came back to grab it, the handbag was gone.

► 100 handbags were stolen from inside a van that was parked at a lot on 249 Pearl Street on April 22, police said. The van's owner found the rear window broken, with the handbags, worth a total of $2,500, missing at about 1 p.m.
