Police Release Video of Daylight Shooting in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN — The suspect in a fatal shooting was caught on surveillance video chasing after his target firing wildly in Cypress Hills over the weekend. 

The recording released Thursday by police shows a hoodie-clad man running down the street, pointing his gun in front of him and firing as bystanders run and duck for cover in front of 200 Jamaica Ave. a little after 7 p.m. on Sunday.

Steven McKoy, 30, was hit once in the head and once in the torso.

The Canarsie resident was rushed to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police are looking for two men who were both wearing dark-colored hoodies in connection with the shooting, according to the NYPD.
