If you want to try Marcus Samuelsson's new restaurant Streetbird Rotisserie, you may have to wait. A lot.
Ever since the celebrity chef opened his new place a couple of weeks ago, two-hour wait times have been common on weekend nights.
Currently 3-hour wait and no more takeout at brand new Streetbird Rotisserie in Harlem. @eaterny

Some of the customers were totally fine with the delayed gratification:
@MarcusCooks @streetbirdNYC Waited an hour and a half for takeout on Tues. It was well worth the wait. #streetbird#redrooster

But if you don't feel like waiting, there are plenty of other dining options on Fredrick Douglass Boulevard.
Harlem Tavern and LoLo's Seafood Shack are right across the street. If you're in the mood for Italian, you can also try Lido's nearby. But if you are dead set on chicken, there is Mama's Fried Chicken half a block north and Amy Ruth's is just one avenue east.
Other publications have given Streetbird rave reviews but Yelpers aren’t quite sold on it. Currently, the place has three out of five stars on the site.
Yelper Mooch B. said it is one of his favorite new spots in Harlem, while user G.L. said you can get better chicken at Fairway.
