CONCOURSE — The superintendent accused of murdering a tenant whose remains were found upstate over the weekend will spend the next four years in prison for beating his wife.
Nasean Bonie, 30, pleaded guilty in February after being charged in 2012 with assault on his wife, who he thought was cheating on him, according to Assistant District Attorney Richard Fasano.
The Bronx super could be facing more jail time if he's convicted on charges that he murdered Ramona Moore, who went missing on July 31, 2012 after an argument with Bonie. Her remains were found Friday in Orange County.
Bonie was sentenced Wednesday in Bronx State Supreme Court to four years in prison and three years of post-release supervision for the domestic assault. He was ordered not to contact his wife.
