CORONA — This gives new meaning to being loaded.

A man who was rejected from a local pool hall for being too drunk was busted for carrying a loaded gun, police said.

Flushing resident Robin Velez tried getting into Carmelita's Billiards at 111-06 Roosevelt Ave. at about 2 a.m. on April 5, but bouncers said he was too drunk to be let in, according to the NYPD.

The bouncers called 911 when Velez, 25, wouldn't leave the front of the pool hall and they noticed a bulge in his waistband, police said.

After searching him, police found Velez carrying a loaded .45-caliber gun and two rounds in his pocket, according to the criminal complaint.

Velez told police he found the gun and decided to keep it, but it's not clear where he found it, officials said.

He was charged with criminal possession of a weapon. He has 12 prior arrests, mostly for drugs, police said.

Velez's lawyer did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
