This subway dancer is so pro, he knows that the show must go on — even when his routine is interrupted by a head injury.

A video posted on LiveLeak shows a showtime dancer slamming his head against the ceiling of a subway car while busting a move in the confined space. You can see the headbump happen at the :25 mark.

The recording, which was posted on April 9, opens with a scene that's typical to most New Yorkers: a young dancer swinging from subway poles and performing stunts using his baseball cap, as his partner claps and monitors the music blaring in the background.

The pair then position themselves for their next acrobatic feat. One performer does a handstand while his partner grabs his feet, with his back turned, and attempts to pull him onto his shoulders.

But the stunt turns sour when the performer bangs his head violently against the ceiling in the process.

"Aye," a passenger can be heard saying.

The young dancer doesn't appear rattled though, and continues the show — as only a true professional does.
