MANHATTAN — Roads and transit through the East Village was snarled the morning after a blast leveled three buildings and injured 25 people, officials said.

Pedestrians were prohibited on Second Avenue between East 6th Street and East 9th Street, according to the mayor's office.

Vehicles were barred along Second from 6th up to East 11th Street, officials said.

Crosstown traffic was restricted on East 6th, 7th and 8th from between Third and First avenues, officials said.

Buses along the M8 and M15 routes are detoured because of the blast as well, the MTA said.

Eastbound M8 buses will travel along St. Marks Place, take a left on Third Avenue, right on East 14th Street, right on Avenue A and left on East 10th Street where it will return to its regular route.

Westbound M8s will head along 9th Street, turn right on First Avenue, left on 14th street, another left on Third Avenue and then a right onto 9th Street again, returning to its regular route.

M15s will travel along Second Avenue, take a right on 23rd Street, left on Third Avenue, left on Houston Street and right on Chrystie Street to return to its regular route.

There were also delays on the M1, M2, M3, M5, M14, M21 and M103 bus routes, the MTA said.
