► Gowanathan III

Where: Gowanus Arts, 295 Douglass St., Gowanus

Spoke the Hub's weekend long event promises to let both adults and kids "immerse themselves" in dance, theater, music, arts, crafts, cabarets, writers' readings, experimental film and dance parties, according to the Spoke the Hub website. Proceeds from ticket sales will help the nonprofit make improvements to its building.

► Bed-Vyne Cocktail Opening

Where: Bed-Vyne Cocktail, 305 Halsey St., Bed-Stuy

Get your drink on at Bed-Stuy’s newest cocktail lounge, which offers “specialized” craft mixes with house-made juices and syrups. Bed-Vyne Cocktail is the latest venture from the owners of Bed-Vyne Wine and Bed-Vyne Brew, so you’re sure to have a wide selection of libations. Proceeds go to the Bedford-Stuyvesant YMCA.

► Covenhoven's First Birthday

Where: 730 Classon Ave., Crown Heights

This neighborhood bar that features specialty beers is hosting a birthday bash on Friday night to celebrate its first year of business. There'll be six "rare kegs" on tap for the event, including a "Chocolate Coconut Almond Imperial Stout" from Westbrook Brewing Company. RSVP on beeradvocate.com. The party starts at 6 p.m.

► Late Night Basement

Where: Pine Box Rock Shop, 12 Grattan St.

One of the best local comedy shows around, Late Night Basement with Chris Rose always manages to finagle some big names into doing sets in Pine Box's intimate back room. The show is free, and beers are 2-for-1. Amber Tamblyn, Chris Distefano and Aparna Nancherla are featured.

► Linda Marchisotto: From the Book of Dreams

Where: Court Tree Collective, 371 Court St., Carroll Gardens

Court Tree Collective will host the opening reception of artist Linda Marchisotto's solo exhibition "From the Book of Dreams," a collection of collages and diptychs that will be displayed for the first time. In an artist statement, Marchisotto said her work reflects her "eclectic interests," with subjects varying from mythology and alchemy to divination and quantum physics. Free reception is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The exhibition will be on view till April 25.

► BritPop Bingo

Where: Passenger Bar, 229 Roebling St., Greenpoint

Win at this British Pop-themed bingo and take home a BritPop vinyl record. Bonus: Kimchi Smoke is doing a pop-up restaurant at Passenger Bar that night.

► Sculpture Talk

Where: 558 St. Johns Place, Crown Heights

On the last day of their exhibit New American Sculpture, gallery FiveMyles will host a panel discussion with the artists whose work is on display. The talk begins at 5 p.m.
