EAST FLATBUSH — A 58-year-old man was found dead with head trauma in the basement of his apartment building on Tuesday, in what police are calling a suspicious death.
The man, whose name was not released pending family notification, was found in the basement of 430 Lefferts Ave. between New York and Brooklyn avenues at approximately 2:30 p.m., sources said.
Police were called by the man's friends who found the body after coming to visit the victim, police sources said.
The man appeared to have been partially covered by debris of some kind, sources said.
