STATEN ISLAND — A reputed mobster and cousin of "Mob Wives" star Angela "Big Ang" Raiola was convicted of felony gun possession stemming from two police raids in 2011, District Attorney Dan Donovan announced Thursday.

Luigi Grasso, 47, who's already serving a 38-year prison sentence for his role in a 2010 killing in Brooklyn, was found guilty after a six-day trial at Richmond County State Supreme Court for numerous counts of gun possession, Donovan said.

In 2011, police found a loaded .40-caliber Smith & Wesson pistol inside Grasso's Jackson Avenue home after they executed a search warrant inside, Donovan said. While in prison, Grasso — a reputed Gambino associate — made a call to his wife and revealed he might have a gun hidden in a South Beach garage, Donovan said.

When police searched the garage on Robin Road, they found a loaded Intratec TEC DC-9 assault weapon inside, Donovan said.

The other charges stemmed from Grasso's 2011 arrest in Manhattan when he was stopped by police on his way to commit a robbery, Donovan said. That case is still pending.

In 2014, Grasso was sentenced to 38-years in prison with two others for his role in the fatal robbery of a check cashier carrying $200,000 in his backpack, the New York Daily News reported.

Even though Hector Pagan, Jr., ex-husband of another "Mob Wives" star Rene Graziano, pulled the trigger, the judge still slapped Grasso with the long sentence, the Daily News reported.

At his latest trail, Grasso was convicted of four counts of criminal possession of a weapon and could face up to 15 years for the charges. His sentencing is scheduled for March 18.
