EAST HARLEM — A drunk woman hopped behind the wheel of a taxi in a bid to drive herself home — after her inability to remember her home address so infuriated her cabbie that he got out to call the police, NYPD officials said.
"I just want to go home,” Lindsay Dickerson, 32, told police after pulling over about a half a block from the scene.
The cabbie, whose name was not released, told police that he'd picked up Dickerson just before 1 a.m. on Feb. 23, but she could not tell him her address as they drove on East 125th Street.
When he pulled over and got out of the cab to call the police, Dickerson jumped behind the steering wheel and drove off, according to the criminal complaint.
Dickerson had bloodshot eyes and smelled of alcohol when police arrived. Her blood alcohol level was .123 — about one and a half times the legal limit of .08 — police said.
Dickerson kicked a police officer in the leg at the precinct, according to the criminal complaint.
She was charged with grand larceny, drunken driving and harassment at her arraignment and was released without bail. She's due back in court May 21, records show.
Her lawyer could not be reached for comment

►A man was arrested after attacking his wife over a text message in their apartment on 117th Street and Lexington Avenue.
Joseph Reddick grew jealous when his wife received a text message at 10:50 p.m. on February 20. He yelled, “Who are you texting, let me see your phone,” police said. When she refused, he screamed, “I’m going to break your phone,” and grabbed his wife by the neck, police said.
Reddick was arrested for assault Wednesday morning, records show.
He had not been arraigned as of Wednesday evening.
►A thief stole three tires from a 2012 Toyota Camry parked on 138th Street and Fifth Avenue.
The gray sedan was parked overnight on Feb. 26, police said.
When the driver returned he noticed three of the tires and rims, which cost about $2,100, were missing, police said.
