SUNNYSIDE — The 108th Precinct has gone to the dogs.
An officer found an adorable pooch near Queens Boulevard and 46th Street Tuesday morning, and his precinct immediately took to Twitter to try and track down its owner.
"#lostdog found around QB & 46st this morning around 7am help us find his owner," the precinct tweeted, along with a photo of the fluffy white pup.

Officers brought the dog, a male named Snowy, to a local vet and discovered that he was micro-chipped. Police were then able to contact Snowy's owner, who was en route to pick up the pup late Tuesday morning, according to police.
This isn't the first time the NYPD has used Twitter to help out a dog in need: officers at the 88th Precinct in Brooklyn tweeted photos of a pooch it found outside its stationhouse last week, including one shot of the dog wearing a police hat. Officials are still looking for that dog's owners.
Police with the 78th Precinct also used Twitter earlier this month to reunite Flame, a missing corn snake, with its owners eight months after the reptile disappeared from its Park Slope brownstone.
