CLINTON HILL — Maybe she should be called McGruff.
Police at the 88th Precinct found a small, white dog outside the stationhouse and are looking for its owner, according to a tweet.
Two officers took a picture with the dog, which they brought in from the cold, inside the station. In one picture that dog is wearing a police hat.
The precinct posted the pictures to Twitter in an attempt to find the dog's owners.
"We found this little girl out in the cold by our precinct," they tweeted. "We'll keep her warm for now! Any leads?"
They also used the hashtag #finderskeepers.
