BROOKYLN — L trains began running again with delays Monday evening after a track malfunction at DeKalb Avenue stopped subway service between Lorimer Street and Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenue, according to the MTA's website.
Trains had initially stopped running during the afternoon rush, but a website update after 7 p.m. said service had resumed with delays in both directions. The MTA did not immediately respond to a request for further information.
A number of commuters took to social media while the trains had stopped running, with some Twitter users urging others to avoid the train. The MTA did not immediately respond to a request for further information:
