QUEENS — A “rail condition” in Jackson Heights caused service disruptions during the evening commute Tuesday, according to the MTA.

The incident happened at 65th Street and Broadway a little after 6 p.m., causing delays and cancelations on the F, R, M and E lines.

Northbound F trains were running local from Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue to Forest Hills-71st Avenue.

Northbound R trains were running express from Queens Plaza to Jackson Heights. Some northbound R trains were also not running past 57th Street in Manhattan.

There was no M service between Delancey Street-Essex Street and Forest Hills in both directions.

E trains were also running with delays in both directions.

It was not immediately clear when the rail condition might be fixed. The MTA could not immediately be reached for further information about the condition.

Riders can check the MTA website for updates.
