CROWN HEIGHTS — Police are searching for two men they say shot a drunk patron of a popular Atlantic Avenue nightclub after robbing him last month.

The incident took place at about 4 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 12, at the Milk River club between Washington and Grand avenues in Crown Heights. Police say two men stole cash from the “intoxicated” 36-year-old patron inside the club’s bathroom.

When the victim left the club a short time later, one of the suspects shot at him as he drove away, injuring his right arm. The victim was treated at Brookdale Hospital. A friend of the victim, who was riding in the car, was not harmed, officials said.

The two suspects are between the ages of 20 and 30, police said. Photos released by the department show the men on surveillance footage outside the club wearing winter jackets.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
