BROOKLYN — The much-feared winter storm that hit New York City Monday night dropped only about 10 inches of snow — but that was enough to keep some residents stranded in home offices for the day. 

For those who aren't staying indoors with their kids today, here's a list of Brooklyn cafes that are open and will welcome you and your laptop.
