FLUSHING — A Department of Motor Vehicles judge has revoked the license of a driver who fatally struck a 3-year-old girl last year as she walked across the street with her grandmother, officials said.

Allison Liao’s family made emotional pleas at a DMV hearing earlier this month, where a judge heard evidence to decide whether he should pull his license.

Judge Sidney Fuchs revoked Ahmad Abu-Zayedeh’s license on Jan. 13, a week after the Jan. 6 safety hearing, a spokeswoman for the DMV said.

It was the only chance left for justice, the family said, because no criminal charges were filed in the case and another DMV judge tossed out the tickets that were issued against the driver.

“Our family should be rebuilding, not fighting for our daughter’s justice, to go through a process,” said her father, Hsi-Pei Liao, after the hearing.

Allison Liao was struck and killed on Oct. 6, 2013 as she walked with grandmother Chin Hua Liao in Flushing, according to the NYPD and court documents.

The decision was first reported by Gothamist.

Abu-Zayedeh’s lawyer, Shawn Turck, said he didn’t know about the decision and couldn’t comment further when reached by phone on Wednesday.

“I don’t have a decision and I don’t know what the decision is,” he said.
