CROWN HEIGHTS — A three-story mixed-use building in Crown Heights’ light manufacturing zone near the Barclays Center sold for $1.15 million last month, its broker announced Wednesday.

A restaurant supply store and two apartments currently occupy the 3,200-square-foot brick building at 994 Atlantic Ave. between Grand and Classon avenues, which had been bought by its previous owner in 1986, property records show. On Dec. 22, 994 Estates LLC purchased it for $359 per square foot.

It’s unclear what the new owner plans to do with the building. The lot was grandfathered into the manufacturing district on the border of Crown Heights and Clinton Hill, said TerraCRG, the real estate company that brokered the deal. The M1-1 zone allows for such uses as repair shops, storage, offices or hotels.

The Borough Park-based company that bought the building could not be reached for comment about the sale.

The property is less than a mile from the Barclays Center and the Atlantic Yards project.

“There has been an increased level of interest in this stretch of Atlantic Avenue east of the Barclays Center, especially with all the new residential and commercial developments planned or currently in construction,” said Michael Hernandez of TerraCRG.
