ASTORIA — A man was struck and killed by a northbound Q train at Broadway station, an MTA spokesperson said.

The incident occured just before 7 p.m., according to FDNY officials, who did not have more information on the victim.

N and Q subway trains were stalled traveling past Queensboro Plaza after the incident, the MTA's website said.

Northbound N and Q trains were terminating at 57th Street-Seventh Avenue in Manhattan or at Queensboro Plaza, according to a 7:17 p.m. posting on the website. No N or Q train service was available between Queensboro Plaza and Astoria-Ditmars Boulevard.

Customers could take the Q102 or Q69 bus as an alternative, according to the MTA website.
