CARROLL GARDENS — Indulge your inner gourmand this New Year.

Food workshops and pop-ups at a Carroll Gardens event space will let you feast your way into 2015 with cheese tastings, meatball classes and traditional noodle shops.

Court Tree Collective, located at 371 Court St., has hosted a number of events since it opened last fall, including art exhibitions and immersive theatrical performances.

But January is all about food for Court Tree with three upcoming events. Here’s a roundup:

Guided Cheese Flight
When: Jan. 6, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Price: $38. Click here to reserve.

Pam Brewer, a cheese monger who lives in Fort Greene, will spread her love of cheese in an informational tasting session on Jan. 6.

The evening includes eight different cheeses along with discussions on taste, style, where they come from and how the cheese is made.

“We get really nerdy about cheese,” said Brewer, 29, who has worked at three different cheese shops and consulted for one.

While the focus is on cheese, wine will also be served and Brewer will touch upon pairing the two.

For each class, she handpicks the cheeses to get a variety of textures and tastes. They usually include a fresh cheese — like goat cheese — an Italian and a French sheep’s milk cheese, a “true honest-to-goodness” English farmhouse cheddar, blue and stinky cheese.

Jay’s Meatball Class
When: Jan. 17, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Price: $30. Click here to reserve.

Jay Goldstein has been cooking his whole life and dreamed of making the best meatballs in the world, he said.

Goldstein, 38, a chiropractor by day, will reveal his secrets for great meatballs in his first official class at Court Tree Collective.

That includes what he calls “the Italian glue,” ricotta cheese mixed with herbs and seasonings to hold the ground meat together.

After the meatball session, Goldstein will teach the class how to make ravioli pesto with the leftover herbs and cooked meat, using wanton wrappers, he said.

Kar Yee Noodle Shop
When: Jan. 31, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Price: $12 early bird special. Click here to reserve.

The Carroll Gardens space will transform into a Hong Kong-style eatery for “Kar Yee Noodle Shop” at the end of the month.

Court Tree Collective co-owner Amy Ng, 30, who also goes by Kar Yee, will serve three different kinds of noodle soup for the pop-up restaurant: crispy pork, wanton and scallion, and shiitake mushroom and tofu.

The pop-up will be reminiscent of noodle shops Yee visited as a child in Hong Kong, with patrons sitting elbow-to-elbow in tiny spaces, she said.

“I know New York City is crowded but Hong Kong is so much more crowded,” she said.

The $12 early bird special includes a bowl of noodle soup and a drink. Walk-in prices are $10 for the noodles, $4 beers, $5 wines and $3 Chinese juice boxes.
