CROWN HEIGHTS — Four men stole a Lexus sedan from an Uber car service driver at gunpoint on Monday, police said.
A 29-year-old driver in a 2013 Lexus ES350 picked up three of the men near the Albany Houses in Crown Heights and a fourth man in Downtown Brooklyn early Monday morning, police said.
The driver brought the men to 80 Schenectady Ave., an apartment building in the Weeksville public housing complex, around 5:45 a.m., officials said.
There, the men forced the driver out of the car at gunpoint, stole his cell phone and $270 in cash and drove off in the vehicle.
The four suspects are described as between 18 to 22 years old. Police released photos of the three men picked up from the Albany Houses, which shows each walking along a passageway wearing hooded jackets.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
