68-Year-Old Man Hit in Face at Roosevelt Avenue Subway Station, Police Say

ELMHURST — A 68-year-old man was hit in the face after a fight at the Roosevelt Avenue subway station, police said.

The victim got into an argument with another man near the turnstiles at the 73rd Street and Broadway entrance to the station at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 10, police said.

He was then hit in the face by the suspect, who fled, police said.

Police described the suspect as a man in his mid-30s, approximately 6 feet tall and last seen wearing a waist-length jacket and sunglasses.

The victim was taken to Elmhurst Hospital in stable condition.
