CROWN HEIGHTS — Police arrested two men Thursday night for shooting a 15-year-old boy in broad daylight on a Crown Heights street earlier in the day.

Rahiem Reeves, 22, of Prospect-Lefferts Gardens and Luis Ramos, 24, of Brownsville, were charged with felony assault and criminal possession of a loaded firearm after opening fire on the 15-year-old at Maple Street and Albany Avenue, police said.

The shooting took place around 2:30 p.m., police said. The boy was shot in the right arm and treated for non-life threatening injuries at Kings County Hospital.

Police said the shooting was the result of a dispute of some kind, but did not provide details. The victim was not identified by police.

It’s unclear if Reeves and Ramos have been arraigned on the charges as of Friday afternoon. The Brooklyn District Attorney’s office did not immediately return a request for comment.
