CROWN HEIGHTS — Two men mugged a 21-year-old woman in Crown Heights earlier this month, breaking her nose before stealing her cellphone and purse, police said.

The mugging took place at 2:30 a.m. outside of a liquor store at 680 Franklin Ave. between Prospect Place and St. Marks Avenue on October 2, police said.

The two men approached the 21-year-old, punched her in the face multiple times and took her cellphone and purse, police said.

The woman was treated at Methodist Hospital, according to police.

Photos of the two suspects released by police show both men wearing black sweatshirts, one of which reads “OBEY” in white lettering.
