Man Groped Two Women in Queens Center Mall Thursday, Police Say

QUEENS — A man sexually assaulted two women inside the Queens Center Mall Thursday, according to the NYPD

The man first approached a 25-year-old employee inside Macy's at the mall on Queens Boulevard in Elmhurst at about 3 p.m., according to police. He placed his hand along her leg and then grabbed her groin over her clothing, police said.

About five minutes later he approached a 34-year-old woman from behind, put his arms around her waist and rubbed his groin against her buttocks, according to the NYPD.

Police described the man as 30 to 35 years old, about 6-foot-1 and between 200 to 230 pounds with dark hair.

Police released a video of the man, who last seen wearing a blue varsity jacket with red sleeves, black sunglasses, dark jeans, white sneakers, a black baseball hat and white scarf, according to police. He was carrying a briefcase, police said.
