CROWN HEIGHTS — Police arrested two teenage boys Thursday for attacking a 45-year-old man at a Crown Heights subway station last week.

Akeem Mattis, 18, of Canarsie and 19-year-old Christopher Rodriguez of Crown Heights are both facing assault charges for running up behind a victim inside the Utica Avenue subway station shortly before 8 a.m. on Aug. 29 and repeatedly punching him, police said. Nothing was stolen from him during the incident, police said.

The victim, whose name was not released, suffered minor injuries, police said.

Mattis and Rodriguez had not been arraigned as of Friday afternoon, according the Brooklyn District Attorney’s office.
