COBBLE HILL — Brooklyn Bodyburn’s second fitness boutique in the borough is opening in Cobble Hill next week, the studio announced.

Bodyburn will officially open at 296 Court St. on Aug. 22 after opening its first location in Williamsburg last year — the latest in a boom of fitness studios that have recently popped up in Cobble Hill and surrounding neighborhoods.

Fitness enthusiasts in south Brooklyn can look forward to utilizing Bodyburn’s “MegaFormer” machine that provides a total-body workout through a system of platforms, springs and pulleys.

The machine is used during a calorie-burning 50-minute workout named after French-born fitness expert Sebastien Lagree who created the MegaFormer, according to its website.

The workout starts out low impact, using principles of Pilates, before adding on elements of cardio and building up intensity.

The studio will also bring the latest M3S MegaFormer model to the Cobble Hill studio, according to a press release.

Brooklyn Bodyburn is taking over the former space of Classic Impressions, an 18-year-old greeting card store that closed earlier this year because of a steep rent hike.

“Being a part of the fitness industry—especially in the boutique realm—is more relevant now than ever before,” Brooklyn Bodyburn founder, Tracy Carlinsky said.

“[W]e look forward to spreading the amazing and effective workout experience that has given Brooklyn such a strong place in the midst of the booming NYC wellness movement.”
