
BROOKLYN — A woman was injured in Crown Heights on Thursday afternoon when a "juvenile delinquent" assaulted her while hurling anti-Semitic epithets at her in Crown Heights Thursday afternoon, police said.
The 45-year-old woman, whose name and age were not released, was at the northeast corner of Bedford Avenue and Eastern Parkway about 5:40 p.m. when the suspect attacked her in what police are investigating as a possible hate crime attack, they said.
The woman was treated for minor injuries, police said.
The suspect, whose age and gender were not released, was arrested when police canvassed the area of the attack, NYPD officials said.
The attack was being investigated by the NYPD's Hate Crimes Task Force, police said. Police did not immediately have information on whether they had brought hate crimes charges against the suspect.
