KIPS BAY — A brawl between two women inside of a 7-Eleven escalated when one jammed a comb into the other’s ear, the NYPD said.
Starasia Allen, 21, and Celina Coleman, 36, started punching each other inside the 395 Third Ave. store at about 3 a.m. on July 16, police said. Suddenly, Allen stabbed Coleman in the ear with a comb, police said.
“One customer was already in the store, and then another woman walked in and they started punching each other,” said 7-Eleven manager Issac Mian, who saw the incident through a surveillance video and said he couldn’t hear what they were fighting about.
“I kept seeing [Coleman] wiping her ear. She was bleeding,” he continued.
A 7-Eleven employee called police and both women were arrested outside of the store, Mian said.
The fight left Coleman with a bump and a bruise on her forehead, police said. Both women had non-critical injuries, according to the FDNY.
Allen was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon, according to online court records. Coleman was charged with assault, police said.
Information regarding their attorneys was not immediately available.
