LONG ISLAND CITY — Hip-hop duo Mobb Deep will return to their old stomping grounds Thursday night to perform a show in Queensbridge Park, part of a series of free concerts planned as part of the City Park's Foundations SummerStage.

The group recently wrapped up their first international tour in seven years, and released a new album "The Infamous Mobb Deep," this spring. Thursday's show will start at 7 p.m.

Other SummerStage concerts planned for Queensbridge Park include a performance on Friday night by the Harambee Dance Company, which draws on both traditional and contemporary techniques to for their unique style of African dance.

On Sunday, July 20, SummerStage will host Queens Family Day at the park, which will feature interactive music and dance workshops, face-painting and other activities. Performances will include the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, choreographer Rashida Bumbray and musician Michael Philip Mossman.
