BRONX — Get ready for a dose of Dominican pride.

The Bronx is hosting more than a week of celebrations leading up to the 25th annual Bronx Dominican Day Parade on July 27, organizers said.

From July 18 to July 20, organizers will host a festival at Clay Avenue and 173rd Street from 3 to 9 p.m. The party will include cultural groups and performances.

A tour of Yankee Stadium will be given on July 22 from 10:30 a.m. until 1 p.m., and on July 24 the parade's black tie banquet will take place at the Marina del Rey at 6 p.m.

State Sen. Ruben Diaz will host Abrazo Dominicano on July 25, a celebration of Dominican heritage that will take place at the Maestro’s Catering Hall on 1703 Bronxdale Avenue from 7 p.m. until 1 a.m.

Then parade organizers will host their second festival from July 25 to 27, also from 3 to 9 p.m. at Clay Avenue and 173rd Street, featuring cultural groups and performances, as well as Dominican food.

On the day of the parade, there will be a VIP breakfast at Hostos Community College from 8:30 to 11 a.m.

The parade itself will take place from noon until 5 p.m., running along Grand Concourse from Tremont Avenue to 167th Street with Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. serving as the grand marshal.

All events are free except for the Yankee Stadium tour and black tie banquet. You can purchase tickets for the stadium tour on the day at the park, and they can purchase $250 tickets for the banquet by calling 718-993-4463.
