BUSHWICK — Craft beer and artisan wines will take center stage at a Bushwick block party next Saturday.

Bushwick Beverages, run by events company Arts+Crafts, will be on Troutman Street between Wyckoff and St. Nicholas avenues from 2 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 26.

The event, which costs $20 in advance and $30 that day, will offer craft beer and artisan wines from more than two dozen local craft breweries and wineries.

Tickets include 15 drink tickets.

"We want to create cultural events that happen in areas outside of the 'cultural zones,'" said Tai Allen, creative director for the group. "Everything happens in DUMBO, Fort Greene and Williamsburg. But other neighborhoods have cultural histories, too."

Bands like all-female mariachi group Mariachi Flor de Toloache and R&B singers Julia & Terrance will perform at the event.

DJ Christopher Sealey, who previously worked this year's White House Correspondent's Dinner pre-party, will also provide music.

The event, Allen said, is intended to be "bohemian, diverse and fun" and promote local businesses. Lot 45, AP Cafe and Union Pizza are all partnering to be a part of it.

"If you live in the neighborhood, you can go and have a brew near your home, rather than traveling," he said. "There's something cool about that."
