KIPS BAY — A Kips Bay woman had her air conditioner stolen from her window — and the thief also snatched her curtains, the NYPD said.
The 44-year-old woman was cleaning her apartment on East 25th Street near Second Avenue as she prepared to move out on the morning of May 28 when she realized her $581 Friedrich air conditioner was gone, police said.
She was also missing other household items, including a wire rod, IKEA curtains and a can of paint, police said.
The woman reported to police that the lock on her mailbox had been tampered with as well.
No arrests had been made as of Tuesday afternoon.
