BROOKLYN — Five men robbed a deliveryman when he arrived at a Clarkson Avenue home on Saturday, punching and kicking him in the head before stealing $500 along with the Chinese food he was carrying, police said.

The deliveryman, whose name was not released, arrived at 305 Clarkson Ave., near Nostrand Avenue, about 9 p.m. when the suspects came out and attacked him, breaking his nose, cutting his face and causing other head trauma, the NYPD said.

He was treated at Kings County Hospital, police said.

The thieves took cash, an iPhone, his cellphone, identification and the Chinese food he was delivering, the NYPD said.

Video released by police shows the suspects standing over the deliveryman, his scooter lying on the ground. One of the assailants, who was wearing a hoodie, is shown lifting the scooter back up before the group ran away.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
