MIDTOWN — Winter is packing one last punch — but it's weaker than feared.

The city is likely to get hit with up to an inch of snow starting around 7 p.m. Tuesday into early Wednesday, the National Weather Service said.

Temperatures for are expected to peak at 38 degrees Tuesday, about 15 cooler than average, and could dip down to 28 degrees.

Forecasters initially said the snowfall total would be more than double what's now predicted.
