EAST FLATBUSH — A teenage girl was found mysteriously dead at her home on Saturday morning and police were investigating the circumstances surrounding her death.
Police officers at the Glenwood Houses, a New York City Public Housing Authority development, received a 911 call reporting the girl was unconscious, the NYPD said.
When they arrived at the unit at 5706 Farragut Rd., police found she was lying in bed and not responsive, police said. Rescuers soon afterwards pronounced her dead at the scene.
No signs of trauma were evident on the girl, and the medical examiner was investigating the cause of death, police said.
