TRIBECA — A pair of thieves swiped more than $1,000 worth of over-the-counter painkillers and antacids from a TriBeCa Duane Reade last week, police said.

Within four minutes, the men threw dozens of bottles of Advil, Nyquil, Aleve, Zantac, Prevacid and Zegerid into a large bag and took off from the 250 Broadway store at about 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 6, police said.

The shoplifters stole a total of 65 bottles, worth $1,519.

Police were still investigating the crime as of Wednesday.

That Duane Reade location is no stranger to theft. In December, a man was arrested for attacking a security guard trying to stop him from stealing $45 worth of nasal strips.

Two years ago, a pair of robbers made off with $1,600 in over-the-counter medications, including treatments for cold sores and yeast infections.

A Duane Reade manager declined to comment.

Other notable crimes in the 1st Precinct include:

► A 35-year-old woman had her $900 Hermes handbag stolen when she fell asleep on a southbound X28 bus on Jan. 6 at 5:30 p.m. The woman told police that she fell asleep after boarding the bus at 42nd Street and Broadway, and when she awoke, at the Broadway and Chambers Street stop, her bag and a $200 Louis Vuitton scarf were missing.

► Two men had their locked bikes stolen from outside of 121 Fulton St., police said. The men said they left their bicycles — a $3,000 Blue Jamis road bike and a $850 red and white Gary Fisher bike — U-bolted to each other and chained to scaffolding about 4 p.m. Jan. 12. When the men returned to their bikes an hour and 45 minutes later, their rides, and the lock and chain, were gone.

► A woman had her $300 Tory Burch purse stolen, after leaving it unattended at S.O.B.’s at about 12:30 a.m. on Jan. 11, police said. The 30-year-old told police that she left the bag on the back of a chair for about 20 minutes, and when she returned, it was gone. The purse contained a $100 Coach wallet and her $600 Samsung smartphone.

► A bag containing $1,050 in cash was stolen out of a 2004 Mercedes parked at Gold and Spruce streets on Jan. 11, police said. The car’s owner found his $150 Kipling bag missing when he returned to the car at 4 p.m., after leaving it parked on the corner. The man had left his rear doors open, police said.

► A woman had her wallet stolen on a northbound 2 train at 3 p.m. Jan. 2, police said. The 33-year-old felt someone jostle her bag as the train approached the Fulton Street stop, and when she checked her bag, her wallet, which contained $110, was missing.
