CORONA — The library at LeFrak City is getting an upgrade with a new 24-hour drop-off kiosk — making it easier to avoid those late fees.

The branch of the Queens Library on 57th Avenue will be closed for a week to upgrade the check-out system, adding ATM-style kiosks to the outside of the building.

The exterior kiosks allow for books or videos to be returned even when the library is closed, printing a receipt for the user.

The system is already in place at a majority of the borough's libraries, according to a spokeswoman.

The upgrade to LeFrak City's branch was funded by Councilman Danny Dromm.

The library closes Friday, Jan. 3 and reopens on Jan. 9.
