CROWN HEIGHTS — A man was shot and killed early Saturday, according to police.
Police responding to a 911 call at 2:05 a.m. found a man shot outside 708 Kingsborough 7th Walk, in the Kingsborough Houses public housing complex on Ralph Avenue, the NYPD said.
On arrival at the scene officers found Shamon Cook, 36, with a gunshot wound in his torso, police said. EMS also responded to the incident and rushed the victim to Interfaith Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
No arrests were made, and an investigation is ongoing, according to police.
