TIMES SQUARE — Miley Cyrus is about to turn the New Year's Eve ball into her Wrecking Ball.
The twerk-tastic pop singer is bringing her floor-grinding moves to 42nd Street, where she'll help ring in 2014 for the annual New Year's Eve celebration.
"Smilers! There's been a change in my NYE plans. @RyanSeacrest asked me to perform in Times Square for #RockinEve!!" the 21-year-old pop star announced on her Twitter account early Thursday morning.
Seacrest broke the news hours earlier during an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live."
"We just added Miley Cyrus to be in Times Square right before the ball drops," Seacrest said, adding that Cyrus had "created a lot of buzz and had a really big year."
Other acts have yet to be announced for "Dick Clark's New Years Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest."
