FLUSHING — Gov. Andrew Cuomo and the state's regional economic council have awarded a $250,000 grant to Queens College to establish a technology incubator.

The money was given to the Flushing college through the state's Regional Economic Development Council initiative, which doles out awards to help support economic growth throughout the state.

The Queens Tech Incubator will be housed at the Schutzman Center for Entrepreneurship, and will offer education, workspace and other services to entrepreneurs focused on technology.

The regional council awarded $57.4 million to various projects around New York City.
