CARROLL GARDENS — The duo behind the critically acclaimed Battersby have launched a new restaurant in Carroll Gardens.

Chefs Joseph Ogrodnek and Walker Stern opened Dover at 412 Court St. last week, Eater first reported, after announcing plans for the new eatery in June

Along with a $95 tasting menu, the restaurant will offer seafood options like oysters, hamachi, sea urchin and lobster as well as meatier specials like beef rib-eye and duck with black kale, squash and buckwheat.

Dover takes the place of shuttered burger joint Vinzee’s Magic Fountain.

“We have a bigger kitchen here, so we have expanded the menu and the food can be more elegant,” Ogrodnek told The New York Times.

In 2011, Ogrodnek and Stern opened Battersby at 255 Smith St., which serves New American cuisine.
